I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist specializing in treatment for child anxiety. I have extensive experience working with youth experiencing anxiety, fears, school avoidance, OCD, as well as depression and trauma. I offer compassionate care to support children and adolescents in facing their fears. I also help parents and caregivers support their child in their journey to overcome anxiety and thrive.
I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Denver, which specializes in child clinical training. I then completed my internship and postdoctoral training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where I received intensive training in working with anxiety, OCD, and trauma. My professional experience includes over 10 years as a faculty member at Loyola University Chicago, where I conducted NIH-funded research evaluating interventions for youth and supported the clinical training of graduate students in the Clinical Psychology PhD program. Most recently, I worked at Rady Children's Hospital San Diego supporting a primary care mental health integration program for youth and families.
I draw on my academic and clinical expertise to bring the best quality, evidence-based care to youth and families. I personalize those treatments for each individual child and family to ensure we work together to find the best approach for you.
